sewer pipe. Efficiently bursts
clay, concrete, cast iron, and PVC pipe.The
ideal technique to use for the rehabilitation
of aging utility systems located in
confined areas. The process involves
very little disturbance caused by open
trench excavation. A winch guides the
pipe bursting tool through the host
pipe. The expander displaces host pipe
fragments into the surrounding soil,
while the bursting head pulls in the
new polyethylene pipe. In addition,
this process generally costs less than
open trench replacement methods.
